Thinking of joining
The Devon Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is a valuable part of the pay and reward package for employees working in local government or one of the other employers participating in the Scheme.
You can join whether you are full time, part time, temporary or permanent, as long as you have a contract of three months or more. There is no lower age limit, and you can join up to 75 years old as long as you are still working.
You will normally be automatically made a member of the LGPS when you start your job unless you choose to opt out.
Check your payslip to see if you are paying in and if not, contact your employer to see if you can join.
